Question:
C60, a fullerene[60], is often called as a "superatom (q)".
Of course the molecular structure is round, and some researchers investigate the inclusion
of metal ions inside to give a [metal+ @ fullerene-] structure. However the reason of being
called a superatom does not reside in the fact of the molecular shape but in the electronic
structure of fullerene itself. Please explain it, after the HMO of C60 is calculated.
